Co-created by Tassie Cameron (Mary Kills People, Ten Days in the Valley, Rookie Blue, The Robber Bride) and Sherry White (Little Dog, Frontier, Ten Days in the Valley, Rookie Blue)PRETTY HARD CASES is a fun and honest portrayal of two radically different female detectives in their early 40s.

The action-packed series follows Guns and Gangs detectives Sam Wazowski (MEREDITH MACNEILL) and Kelly Duff (ADRIENNE C. MOORE.) By day, they are heroes in their particular way: skilled, tough, determined, and entertaining, fighting to do good in a broken system. But by night, they’re both grappling with loneliness, dysfunctional families, screwed-up love lives, and a sense that their professional ambitions may not be totally in line with their personal needs. Their friendship could help to balance each other out if only they didn’t drive one another utterly insane.

Season 3 of Pretty Hard Cases finds a miserably demoted Sam and a deeply undercover Kelly reuniting to win their way back into the OCE after eight long months apart. Although their professional relationship has never been stronger, Sam and Kelly are going to need to prove they’re worthy of the department’s top cases to a new and exacting Unit Commander. Still, the pair of detectresses have each other’s backs as they navigate big changes in their personal lives: Sam revisits a past romance with her ex, Steve, while Kelly is finally seeing how far things can go with Nathan. Just as things seem to be falling into place, a deadly new drug starts to appear on the streets of Toronto. Now Sam and Kelly must take down a gang of power-hungry gamers to stop the insidious drug at its source.

A CBC Original Series, PRETTY HARD CASES is produced by Cameron Pictures in association with CBC and NBCUniversal International Studios. The series is created by Sherry White and Tassie Cameron, who also serve as Co-Showrunners. Sherry White, Tassie Cameron, Amy Cameron and Alex Patrick are Executive Producers. For CBC, Sally Catto is General Manager, Programming and Trish Williams is Executive Director, Scripted Content. NBCUniversal will handle global distribution.

The season one finale of LITTLE DOG saw Tommy (JOEL THOMAS HYNES) riding off into the night after winning a fight he was supposed to throw, screwing over Tucker (MARY WALSH), and inadvertently losing his mother’s house. Season two picks up immediately afterwards and Tommy is on the run. Eventually forced to face his family, and the boxing ring, all hell breaks loose after an incident with an opponent and Tommy ends up on the wrong end of a revenge story. This is great news to wannabe boxing promoter Kevin Smallwood (ROMAINE WAITE) who soon becomes intimately involved in the affairs of the Ross family. To make life even messier, Tommy is trying to parent a child he didn’t know he had and win back Pamela (JULIA CHAN) at the same time. Sylvia (GER RYAN) is struggling as a queen without a castle, Ginny (KATHARINE ISABELLE) can’t convince Chesley (BILLY COCHRANE) to give up the search for his own father, and Lowly Jr (STEPHEN OATES) gives romance a go for the first time. Long-held family secrets surface in an exploration of forgiveness, redemption, family, and fatherhood that has the same unique and hilarious tone as season one.

A CBC original series, LITTLE DOG is developed and produced by Cameron Pictures and Elemental Pictures with the participation of the Canada Media Fund, the Newfoundland and Labrador Film Development Corporation, the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, the Newfoundland Film and Video Industry Tax Credit, and the Ontario Film and Television Tax Credit. LITTLE DOG is created by, and stars, actor/author Joel Thomas Hynes, who is also an executive producer. "One of the most impressive debuts of the year." – Variety, 2017

Set in the morally grey world of assisted suicide, MARY KILLS PEOPLE is an intense, controversial, and thought-provoking drama.  The series follows Dr. Mary Harris (CAROLINE DHAVERNAS), a single mother and emergency doctor by day, who also moonlights as an underground angel of death — helping terminally ill patients who want to die and slip away on their own terms. So far Mary has managed to stay under the radar; but business is booming, and her double life is getting complicated.

In the third and final chapter of MARY KILLS PEOPLE, Dr. Mary Harris must come face-to-face with her own personal choices, ethics, and demons in a way she never has before. The death retreat is up and running, but its cover as a legitimate hospice is crumbling away and with it the idyllic vision Mary and Des (RICHARD SHORT) had for continuing their work in quiet secrecy. With Mary’s family and the work she loves in jeopardy once more, she realizes she is finally going to have to put life, with all of its complexities and imperfections, first.

MARY KILLS PEOPLE is produced by eOne and Cameron Pictures Inc., in association with Corus Entertainment, and with the financial participation of the Canada Media Fund, the Ontario Film and Television Tax Credit, and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit. The series is executive produced by Tassie Cameron, Amy Cameron, Marsha Greene, Jocelyn Hamilton, Tecca Crosby, and Caroline Dhavernas. The series was created by Tara Armstrong.
